Hang on three Scouse blokes drinking pints of Stella and smoking tabs on a Tuesday morning? Have I mistakenly gone to Wetherspoon’s? Fuck no your surfing Challaborough.
While surfing in south Devon for the most part is a serene and purely natural experience Challabororough takes this and blends it with the gut feeling of a Butllin’s stag weekend and the occasional aroma of raw sewage or chemical toilet.
Despite this the left hander off the rocks at mid to high makes it worth the risk of D&V, and once you’re in the sea you can’t hear or see the overly plump tracksuit adorned drones verbally abusing their children and quaffing chips by the kilo.
Perfect early morning or off season in the winter but like a zombie apocalypse sponsored by Kappa in the summer, Challaborough will leave you smiling with a slightly sick feeling in your mouth.
