Why is it good, alright, annoying or shit?:

Where to start?! This will save you money. If like me, you store wetsuits and accessories all over your garage and inevitably things get lost, buried or eaten by something then this is for you. Just the feature of keeping everything together and handy to grab and roll is ace but also it is definitely saving on a new pair of half-decent gloves/boots this season alone.

The main thing this badboy excels at is drying your wetsuit, gloves & boots. It’s deigned to, that was the focus of it’s existence and you can tell that it’s been crafted by surfers. There’s a lot of thought that has gone in including the ratchet hanger, the voluminous ventilation holes moulded into the hangar and the boots drip guiding edge, ensuring the water is guided away from everything.

What would usually take a good 5 days of air drying (for those of you using dehumidifiers, you know who you are, you beasts. The planet yeah?) this thing easily wipes a couple of days off. The thickness of it means it’s not going anywhere in a hurry too, we weren’t brave enough to reverse over it to really put it through it’s paces, (cos we wanted to use it and we very rarely reverse over anything, unless it’s a bodyboard. Only playing of course. We’ll take out a few foils too. No honestly…that was only those 6 or 7 times) but we think it would take some proper weighty pressure should your memory and driving be awful.

Overall best thing about it is that it’s a top time saver for both drying the wetsuit, boots & gloves and for racing out the door with a board tucked under the other arm. No hunting down one left boot, no getting pissed off because someone has rested a garden strimmer against it, no faff.

What would make it better (if anything)?:

Bluetooth speaker. Ha! Doesn’t that make everything better?! Nah, this has clearly been a refined and well thought out piece of engineering. Likely it will evolve further as they are pretty popular judging by the feedback from one of our viral ‘unboxing posts’ what we put on our Facebook. By ‘viral’ what we mean is infected.

But it’s plastic though eh?:

Yeah, it is, recycled plastic. All that plastic we should be collecting for recycling goes somewhere good. Good news story we reckon. c-monsta have clearly thought about their impact on the environment and how to reduce it even the packaging is recyclable.

Would you get another one?:

For the storage alone, it’s probably worth having three if you are in the water a lot (and if like us have multiple wetsuits etc) and if you get three you score a fourth for FREE! Merry Christmas! But otherwise one will do the job, two if you have different wetsuits for different seasons etc.

Any other comments?:

9.5 stars. Only because we didn’t reverse over it (see above).

Talking of packaging (above), that is one of the really nice things this brand do really well. The cardboard box looks awesome with clear instruction on the back. Packaging is something a lot of surf brands don’t put much thought into these days particularly for accessories but c-monsta are all over it, which really adds to the overall purchase.
